Abstract

A SERIES of lectures delivered in the Department of Thermodynamics at Oxford forms the basis of this book. The contribution which the Clarendon Laboratory has made to chemical thermodynamics is widely known, and the author has performed a valuable service in presenting the points of view of this school in such a readable form.
