Abstract

At the beginning of each academic year, you may hear “complaints” from some diagnostic medical physicists who struggle to get more physics teaching time. Their efforts should be appreciated. Looking from the other side, radiology faculty members and residency program directors may also wonder, “How many time slots should be allocated for physics teaching?” To date, there is no clear answer, and to our knowledge, the answer still depends on individual programs and/or departments according to their perceptions of the value of physics teaching.
