Abstract

Back Cover: Article 2200272 by Xin Yang, Pengyu Lv, and their co-workers, demonstrates that hydrophobic polymer entanglements can function as robust crosslinking points to prepare anti-swelling hydrogels with high stiffness. The hydrogels have cartilage-equivalent compressive modulus and strength and are nontoxic to the cell. Moreover, the hydrogels can be processed into various complex shapes by direct ink printing, promising for articular cartilage replacement.
