Abstract

The author shows that it is more and more difficult to obtain new objective data about the physical world. After all, modern scientific practice has an increasingly indirect character. We are increasingly moving away from our familiar realm of reality. Studying the microcosm, the scientist has to overcome ever greater challenges. In addition to the "instrumental mediation" of scientific knowledge, there is also a "theoretical mediation". The latter can be understood as all the growing theoretical constructions that describe the object under study. The materials presented in the article may be useful in the study of the discipline "Concepts of Modern Natural Science".
