Abstract

The paper presents basic results of research aimed at defining the degree of natural hydration of vermiculite concentrates and conglomerates, expansion coefficient by their burning, specific heat absorption energy, efficiency of the process of vermiculite mechanical transformation (structure formation) by expansion, required heating temperature, minimum and good bulk density etc. Experience in this field gained by other authors is not enough therefor data provided in this paper are topical and supplement existing information about physical properties and constants of vermiculite.
