Abstract

An experimental study of a homemade N2 laser is presented. It has been found that the position of the maximum energy of the output pulse was shifted towards the high N2 pressure side by using a rear mirror. Moreover, the output energy was increased when the electrode connected to the top plate of the pulse forming side acts as a cathode, during the time of the discharge in the laser channel.
