Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the level of self-esteem of the young players for long jump efficiency. And to identify the level of achievement of the long jump for young players. The researcher also used the descriptive approach to suitability of the research problem. The sample was chosen from the young players of the national team with the long jump efficiency of 12 players in a deliberate manner. The researcher used a questionnaire questionnaire (physical self-scale) and long jump test and after obtaining the data was treated statistically, the most important conclusions that emerged in the research is a positive correlation between physical self-esteem and long jump performance. The most important recommendations are: the need to pay attention to the psychological preparation by the coaches towards the players, including self-esteem because it has a significant impact on the psychology of players. And the need to develop a psychologist for all sports teams.
