RNA Methylation and Mental Health Aerobic exercise promotes the hepatic biosynthesis of methyl donors, which enter the brain to facilitate RNA methylation of synaptic gene transcripts. This liver-brain axis is necessary for the prevention of anxiety-like behaviors under environmental stress.
