Abstract

Background and Aims : Introduction: The prevalence of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ACD) is alarming worldwide. In order to develop effective and timely strategies to minimize the impacts caused by ACD such as physical and psychological health of patients, financial burden due to healthcare expenses of patients and that to the society, it brings our attention on exploring the factors that prevent or lead to ACD for decades. Among all the factors, physical environmental factors is suggested to positively or negatively impacting prevalence of ACD.
