Abstract

The Physical environment is the internal and external physical conditions that are dealt with, seen or observed by the child and which include many physical factors like light, ventilation, noise, therapeutic or educational tools, games, green spaces, and other physical components available to the child which will affect the motor development of children with cerebral palsy. The current study aimed at the revealing the relationship between the physical environment and the motor development of children with cerebral palsy, The researchers selected a sample of (60) children with cerebral palsy in childhood from 1 – 12 years, The researchers used the comparative descriptive approach, and They applied the following measures: Motor Skills in The Portage List, Environmental Scale Home, Environmental Scale Center for Care and measure of Employees Centers Care. The results of this study, Effect of the physical environment on motor development of children with cerebral palsy. This study recommended that modification of physical environment is essential for those for children to gain maximum benefits from the treatment offered to them ,and Direct and train parents of children with cerebral palsy.
