Abstract

The aim of this study concern in the optimization of the physical and dielectric properties of pure ZnO thin films deposited by the Spray pyrolysis (SP) method on the glass substrate previously heated from 300 °C to 450 °C at 0.2 M. In order, to get a sufficiently transparent and conductive film, for to involve it as a window layer (TCO) in solar cells. The obtained results show that at 350 °C is suitable for producing the insulating and the transparent conductive layers of ZnO envisaged. The optical measurements show that transmittance reaches a maximum value of 70% in the visible region, which corresponds to the weak thickness value and refractive index. This corresponds to a maximum value for merit factor.
