Abstract

The distribution diagrams of Al 3+ and M 2+(M 2+Co 2+, Ni 2+, Cu 2+, Zn 2+) aqua hydroxo complexes both in one-compound and binary systems as a function of pH and the neutralization degree have been obtained experimentally. The effective activation energies have been determined and the kinetic advantage of the heteronuclear complexation compared to the homopolynuclear one has been established. The thermodynamic characteristics have been obtained and their correlation with kinetic parameters and electronic structure of the investigated metal ions has been defined. It has been established that there exists a compensation effect in the processes under study. As the result, the scheme of the Al 3+M 2+ polynuclear hydroxo complexation has been proposed and the features of this process have been revealed.
