Abstract

The article substantiates the expediency of using granulated sheep manure, identifies the reasons preventing the production of pellets that meet the requirements for their effective use. The most significant properties of sheep manure are highlighted. The methods for determining the moisture content of manure from the height of the shoulder, its density from the time of precipitation are given, the results of laboratory and field experiments are presented in the form of graphical dependencies. The description and principle of operation of the thermographic moisture meter Sartorius MA-150 is given.
