Abstract

High quality Mn-doped (K0.5Na0.5)0.2(Sr0.75 Ba0.25)0.9Nb2O6 crystal was grown and its two-wave mixing and self-pumped phase conjugation properties were studied in detail. The two-wave coupling gain is as high as 37.60 cm−1 and the phase conjugation reflectivity is higher than 40%. It is shown that Mn dopants effectively increase photorefractive property of the crystal, and the possible mechanism is analyzed.
