Abstract

Abstract Non-resonant two-photon excitation of 2,2-diphenylhexamethyltrisilane with a 532 nm pulsed laser light induced the two major reactions, silylene extrusion and migration of the β-trimethylsilyl group with a quite different selectivity from that for the single-photon excitation.
