Abstract

The use of a highly viscous pentacrylate known to efficiently generate a tridimensional network under photochemical activation in association with a low viscosity oxazolidone acrylate leads to a very promising recording medium. After prepolymerization under homogeneous deep UV exposure this material becomes able to record holographic images without subsequent treatment. Several reactive sensitizers allow its spectral range of sensitivity to extend over the visible and near infrared up to 850 nm. No more than 30 mJ cm-2 are required to record a permanent hologram at 514 nm.
