Abstract

We realize the first device-independent quantum randomness expansion experiment secure against quantum side information through quantum probability estimation. 1.08×10 <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">8</sup> bits of near-uniform random bits are expanded at a latency of about 13.1 h from a photonic loophole-free Bell test with record-high single-photon detection efficiency.
