Photonic decay widths of some heavy pseudoscalar mesons.

Abstract

The photonic decays of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons ${B}_{L}$, ${B}_{\mathrm{sL}}$, and ${D}_{L}$ are studied in the single loop quark model. The contribution to the two $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ decays of the heavy pseudoscalar mesons are computed in the standard model as a function of the quark mass. It is interesting to note the equality of the order for the two $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ decay amplitudes of ${B}_{L}$, ${B}_{\mathrm{sL}}$, and ${D}_{L}$.
