Abstract
In this paper, a novel state called photon-added squeezing-enhanced coherent state (PASECS) is introduced and studied by adding m photons to the squeezing-enhanced coherent state. This state contains the non-Gaussian character and nonclassical properties by examining the negative values of the Wigner function. The nonclassical features of the PASECS are investigated based on the second-order correlation function, sub-Poissonian statistics, Q-function, and the degree of squeezing. The results show that by changing photon addition and squeezing-enhanced parameter r, the nonclassical properties are demonstrated stronger in the novel state than in the normal squeezed coherent state.
