Abstract
Photoluminescence in diamond-like amorphous carbon films shows broad, featureless, weak temperature dependent and wide range variable spectral properties. The PL peak position is also excitation energy dependent. Compared with optical band gap measurement, large self-traped energy for carriers are deduced.
