Abstract
Abstract 4,5-Dimethoxy-2-nitrobenzyloxycarbonyl group acting as a photolabile protecting group was bonded on 3-aminopropyl silica gels through a covalent bond in a 46% yield. The deprotection was performed under UV-irradiation. The resulting amino group was analyzed through the use of a confocal laser-scanning microscope using 4-(10,15,20-triphenylporphyrinyl)phenyl fluorophore.
