Abstract
The simple method recently proposed (see ibid., vol.12, p.1053 (1979)) for calculating the radial transition integrals involving low or high excited bound states in the Coulomb approximation is extended to the case of bound-free transitions. Contrary to previous methods, it is valid even in the case of photoionisation from high Rydberg states and avoids all numerical quadratures.
