Abstract

Front Cover: Photosensitive amyloid-like nanofibrils enable the precise patterning of cells on 2D substrates. By integrating a photocleavable linker into the peptide sequence, its self-assembly into cell adhesive nanofibrils can be disrupted through UV-light irradiation, resulting in a loss of fibrillar morphology. This allows for the photolithographic preparation of intricate patterns of cell-adhesive and cell-repulsive regions. This is reported by Christopher V. Synatschke, Tanja Weil, and co-workers in article number 2200294.
