Abstract
Photogeological fracture traces were analysed in the Sopur area, North Kashmir valley. Azimuthal frequency diagram of the fracture traces show two preferred fracture trends indicating joint or fault pattern caused by tension. The study revealed a homoclinal structure beneath the valley alluvium.
