Abstract

Electron micrographs and size distribution curves are presented for silver clusters formed by the photoelectrochemical deposition of silver atoms onto the surface of pure single crystals of anthracene. The clusters were resolved to a diameter of 2 nm. For comparison clusters were also deposited using a cluster source in vacuum.
