Abstract

The total photon interaction cross-sections for Cd and In at photon energies of 22.2, 59.6 and 88.8 keV have been measured. The photoelectric cross-sections at these energies have been deduced by subtracting the scattering cross-sections (coherent plus incoherent) from the measured values of total interaction cross-sections. The results have been compared with corresponding theoretical values in the literature.
