Abstract

After discussing the treatment options with the patient, thermal laser photocoagulation was applied to treat the lesion. Six weeks after treatment, BCVA remained at 20 ⁄ 35 with no change in the lesion and no reduction in subretinal fluid on OCT. Given this lack of response, photodynamic therapy (PDT) with 6m g⁄ m 2 verteporfin and standard laser fluence of 600 mW for 83 sec- onds was performed.
