Abstract
The photocurrents of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) under high-intensity laser irradiation are studied theoretically. Photocurrents of E11 excitons dissociated by the Auger recombination process are calculated for zigzag CNTs with various diameters. The photocurrents due to dissociated excitons emerge at the threshold laser-intensity and the threshold decreases as the CNT diameters increase. Furthermore, the photocurrents become larger for larger diameter CNTs.
