Abstract

A solution of the equation of diffusion describing the photocurrent kinetics created by photoemission of electrons from a metal electrode into the electrolyte solution is presented. The time dependence of the emitted charge involving the rate constant of the solvated electron capture by acceptor, the diffusion coefficient, the life time and the rate constant of electrode reactions of the product and its further transformation, which serve as parameters, has been obtained. Some particular cases are considered, in which these parameters may be obtained experimentally.
