Abstract

The direct photolysis of diphenyldiazomethane in dimethyl thiophosphite gave the product of P-H insertion. The thermal reaction leads to the N-dimethoxythiophosphorylhydrazone of benzophenone and O,O-dimethyl S-(diphenylmethyl) thiophosphate. Carbenoid P-H insertion occurred in the thermocatalytic decomposition.
