Abstract
We herein disclose a direct and practical photocatalytic three‐component α‐trifluoroalkyl‐β‐heteroarylation of various unactivated alkenes with trifluoroacetates and quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐ones. The reaction takes place via a photoinduced LMCT process, allowing efficient synthesis of a variety of 3‐fluoroalkylated quinoxalin‐2(1H)‐one derivatives in moderate to excellent yields under mild reaction conditions.
