Abstract

AbstractPhotodynamic therapy (PDT) is a promising treatment for cancer, but the hypoxic tumor microenvironment limits its therapeutic effect, especially in these oxygen‐dependent PDT‐II systems. Herein, a nanoporous MOF@POP composite, named UBP, is synthesized by template strategy to effectively integrate BODIPY‐contained porous organic polymers (POP) and MOF within one system. Such UBP possesses well dispersibility and pH‐triggered type I photodynamic performance, which shows a selected toxicity to cancer cells (HeLa cells) but less damage to normal cells (L929 cells).
