Abstract
Intelligently designed effective photocatalysts and their surface manufacturing are essential to generating chemical energy from solar energy in photocatalytic organic reactions. In this paper, we have synthesized a robust photocatalyst for CC coupling reaction under visible light irradiation. The designed structure including Fe3O4@SiO2/TiO2 decorated with l-Histidine/Pd, showed significant photocatalytic activity in a CC coupling reaction. The main advantages of this heterogeneous photocatalyzed CC cross-coupling reaction are its environment friendly, high yield of products, stability, durability, recyclability, and simple and facile synthesis approach.
