Abstract

In this presentation, I will illustrate how the use of multiple speckle illumination offers new degrees of freedom in photoacoustic imaging. In the acoustic-resolution regime, I will show that speckle illumination can help breaking the acoustic-diffraction limit [1]. I will show how multiple speckle illumination may also be used to perform optical-resolution photoacoustic microscopy, as an alternative to the conventional point scanning approach. [1].
