Abstract

The feasibility of using previously untried phosphors for high temperature thermographic sensing has been studied. Photoluminescent properties of several phosphors are analysed to detect peak emission decay variations with increasing phosphor temperature. Analysis of these phosphors has produced a more complete temperature range over which thermographic sensing is possible.
