Abstract

One phosphomannoisomerase and two phosphoglucoisomerases have been obtained from developing and germinating Cassia coluteoides seeds. The MW of phosphomannoisomerase and those from other legumes were about half those of phosphoglucoisomerases. Kinetic properties, including inhibition by 6-phosphogluconate and erythrose 4-phosphate have been studied.
