Abstract

AbstractInelastic electron tunneling spectroscopy is studied for Pb/InSe/Pb tunnel junctions at liquid helium temperature in the normal state of Pb under an external magnetic field. The insulating barrier of InSe, a layered semiconducting compound, is cleaved from a single crystal along the layer. Inelastic electron tunneling spectra for the junctions show phonon structures of indium selenide as well as those of the lead electrodes.
