Abstract
The variation of optical parameters under an external hydrostatic pressure is studied for the bulk material such as GaAs & AlAs. Hence the behavior of phonon polaritons modes in Low dimensional [LD] system is studied with pressure. It is found that the polaritonic gap in the system is found to be constant irrespective of the pressure values, but it is shifted to higher frequency region with pressure.
