Abstract

A theory of the drag thermoelectromotive force for a 2D electron gas in a quantized magnetic field is developed which permits one to explain the nonmonotonous temperature dependence and order of magnitude of the transverse thermoelectromotive force observed in the GaAsAl xGa 1−xAs heterostructure.
