Abstract
Phonon structures were observed in the tunneling conductance of Bi 2Sr 2CaCu 2O 8. The spectral function gives proper values for the critical temperature and the energy gap. There is no particular phonon-mode whose contribution to T c is larger than 12 K. The resistivity and the nuclear-spin relaxation rate were calculated using the spectral function.
