Abstract
The cross section for incoherent neutron scattering on solid ortho hydrogen in the ordered phase is investigated for processes where ortho-para conversions take place in combination with the excitation of phonons and librons. The phonon part of the cross section is calculated and compared with the experimental results of Stein, Stiller and Stockmeyer [2].
