Abstract
As you know, philosophy is the study of man in his relationship with the world around him, so it is difficult to imagine a more appropriate object of application of philosophical knowledge than economics. Disclosure of the relationship between philosophy and economic theory makes it possible to formulate the subject and objectives of philosophy of economics, its status and the main sections of economic knowledge. The authors of the article turn to the analysis of the philosophy of economics as a special section of philosophy and at the same time - economics. The relevance of the topic is determined by the insufficient development of the subject field, content and issues of philosophy of economics, its relationship with economic theory. The aim of the work is to substantiate the need for philosophical reflection, rational criticism and other scientific methods in the study of economic knowledge and the real economy. The results of the work are a "demarcation" between the philosophy of economics and economic theory, as well as the definition of the concept of economic phenomenon as an integrative, uniting all members of society. The authors argue that the philosophy of economics is a special worldview of economics and economy, which includes values and moral imperatives that allow in the future to form a new economic paradigm and are important prerequisites for sustainable development. Based on the analysis, the authors concluded that the philosophy of economics, being a relatively new and relevant field of knowledge, performs important heuristic functions, establishing scientific contacts, making mutually beneficial links between the humanities and economic knowledge. Its task is to understand the economy from a philosophical point of view, to reveal the goals of management, the role and place of social values, worldview factors in the economic activities of people. Philosophical analysis of economics in a broad socio-cultural context, as well as the study of various links between different worldviews and economic development of mankind can expand the horizons of economic theory, gaining new ideas about the economy and society as a whole.

Результатами роботи є проведення «демаркації» між філософією економіки та економічною теорією, а також визначення поняття феномена «економічного» як інтегруючого, що об’єднує всіх членів суспільства. Постановка проблеми визначається необхідністю застосування філософської рефлексії, раціональної критики та інших наукових методів для сучасного аналізу як існуючого економічного знання, так і реальної економіки з метою відповісти на питання: «що таке філософія економіки?».
