Abstract

The current study takes comparative approach to analyze the metaphysical, moral, and mystical aspects of the work known as Tirumantiram written by Tirumular. This paper compares Tirumantiram with various philosophical texts by analysing six key themes of metaphysics, ethics, spirituality, duty, cultural context and linguistic nuances. It exposes inherent commonalities of man’s nature despite cultural differences, allowing for sensitivity regarding universal as well as exceptional conceptual aspects. The study meticulously identifies metaphysical foundations, ethical principles, and spiritual practices, thus enlightening readers on integrated wisdom of world philosophical legacy. Moreover, this exercise adds to scholarly debates and offers practical contributions towards ethical living and spiritual understanding in a pluralistic global village.
