Philosophical Thought in the Works of Subrabharathimanyan

Abstract

Subrabharathimanian is one of the modern writers who is deeply concerned about the society and the environment. In most of his works he has written about the Noyyal river and how it has been polluted by dye waste and garbage from Banyan companies. Most of his novel is about the about pollution of the atmosphere due to the fumes of factories, global warming, people being mentally affected by the noise of vehicles and about the diseases because of this. He has said about women workersin his novel Samayalarai Kalaiyangal, about child labourers in Pinangalin mugangal, about field workers in Thaeneer idaivaelai, about Tirupur condition in Naira and about weaver’s problem in Tarinada. And also, in Mega vedippu article about the effects of methane gas coal mining. Sivappu Pattiyal essay on bird extinction and Marainthu Varum Marnangal based on tree extinction. Mos of his works are about the social welfare.
