Abstract
The article discusses the philosophical foundations of working with youth. The expediency of studying the presented problems in the context of modern social development in theoretical and applied aspects is substantiated. The activity approach when working with the socio-demographic group “youth” is analyzed. The key directions and stages of youth socialization have been identified. Possible negative scenarios that could lead to destructive behavior among young people are analyzed. The place of the theory of practices, which contributes to a more complete understanding when building purposeful interactions with young people, is specified. The role of digital technologies and technology in the processes of communication with youth representatives is determined. In conclusion, the general results of the study are summarized.
