Abstract
In this essay, Plum recounts her experience and dissatisfaction with being an adjunct professor at a prestigious university in Philadelphia. She writes about looking for a job with health insurance and the injustices that surrounds the work force and job search today. She also writes about the crimes and inequalities she witnessed while living in Philadelphia.
