Abstract

AbstractTwo international incidents a decade apart—the wars in Iraq and Kossovo—illustrate how a sense of solidarity of action and unity of purpose has been lost. The study of philanthropy may help us recover what we have lost and thereby infuse trust into the public policy of the future.
