Abstract

Background: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune demyelinating disease that affects the central nervous system of individuals with peak incidence between the ages of 20-40. A distinct form of MS initially presents in the pediatric population (less than 18 years of age) with the same clinical presentation but a different disease course.
