Abstract

The article examines the creative component of the work of conductor O. Tymoshenko, for whom creativity is life and self-creation; where he seeks to approach the transcendent, the divine believing that this is possible only in a creative ascent, seeks to identify his skill with his life. His life is devoid of any meaning without creativity. It is in the creative act — the deep purpose of man which elevates him above the mundane. It is clarified that creativity is the transformation of the energy of human instincts to the transformation of the principle of pleasure into the principle of reality at the level of society. For O. Tymoshenko the highest manifestation of creativity is art and love for people. Emphasis is placed on the specific features of the conductor's musical thinking which consists in the harmonious combination of several means of communication: musical, verbal and motor. As for the creative components of musical-performing thinking they are manifested as follows: convergence (speed) in the reaction of the conductor, the speed of switching his reaction; flexibility in the ability to restructure the work plan, both of these qualities are the basis of artistry as the ability to reincarnate due to the property of generating associations. Originality is manifested in the interpretation of a musical work as well as in the creation of an individual style of conducting. Emphasis is placed on the attempt to study and rethink the creative component in its various manifestations. It is concluded that the conductor has formed his personal original worldviews. O. Tymoshenko’s creativity is explained as will and inspiration, cordocentrism, awakening, as survival in emergency conditions, nationalism and patriotism, as moral and ethical issues (ethics of responsibility), freedom and love, self-realization and actualization, etc. A new stage in the development of Ukrainian music, its functional purpose is analyzed. This is primarily manifested in the relationship of spiritual origin with the elements of concert in the sacred-musical work, which leads to a certain separation of dramatic works from choral art, their relative independence, artistic value and allows to define a new genre — concert works. The character inherent in the master has its manifestation in the aspiration of the conductor to the so-called democratization of musical language, is not burdened by any complex musical techniques and is musical. The character of the musical work of the modern Ukrainian conductor testifies to the language, is based not only on the intonation of the Ukrainian tradition. This approach opens up great opportunities for conductor O. Tymoshenko to express his personal creativity in the sacred sphere.
