Abstract

The neutral kaon system is described conventionally by a 2×2static non-Hermitian effective Hamiltonian. The corrections to theformulation can be classified into two classes: one is a power-typecorrection which changes the exponential behaviour of the time evolutionoperator and the other changes the coefficients in front of theexponential. We show that the second type of correction is much largerthan the first one. However, these effects are of the order of 10-14or less, far beyond the range of foreseeable CPT or CP violationneutral kaon experiments.
